This work is inspired by the first scenes in the beginning of the "The Passion of The Christ". I watched it some days ago because I had nothing better to do and although the movie as a whole wasn't very good (and I don't find the main idea interesting also..) the first few scenes were very beautiful. The title "Burden of Grief" doesn't mean sadness/sorrow/pain/love/suicide and such stuff. It means (just like the legends for Christ) that The Burden is actually all the sins of mankind that he took on himself... and grief - despite all he has done and is trying to do, they kill him in the end..
Important note:I'm not some crazed religious girl, you know...note that! Finishing this took so long... I tried to paint a bit on the tall dark figure because when I changed the color a bit the quality decreased a lot So.. I had to pain on it otherwise the girl would have looked great and the dark figure.. horrible And I also paint a bit of the rain that falls over the two ppl but I don't know if I made it realistic enough..Tell me what you think, I need your opinion This is one of the few serious works I've done till now..
I dedicate this to =PaniFilth and ~PerfectedInPain because I deleted the old manip I dedicated to them. I personally think this one is better. I hope you like it
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
